Ledger Movers: Weekly Transparency Breakdown for August 10

A data-led review of the latest employer rankings, top scores, and ledger activity as of August 10, 2026.

Every week we review the data recorded across the JobCop system to track how employers treat job applicants. As of August 10, 2026, the system tracks 28 graded US employers on the ledger. Across all tracked companies in the database, the average transparency score currently stands at 57.8 out of 100.

When evaluating the current state of recruitment, an average score below 60 highlights the persistent friction candidates face during their search. Here is a clear breakdown of where companies stand, who leads the current rankings, and who sits at the bottom of our ledger index.

Top Performers on the Ledger

At the top end of the index, performance is led by a small handful of organizations that maintain scores above the broader cohort. Instacart currently holds the highest grade among all evaluated employers, sitting at a transparency score of 76 out of 100.

Directly behind Instacart is Airbnb, which maintains a score of 66 out of 100. Beyond these two top organizations, the remaining employers rounding out the highest-graded tier all share an identical score of 57 out of 100:

  • Instacart (76/100)
  • Airbnb (66/100)
  • Figma (57/100)
  • Rocketship (57/100)
  • Epsilon3 (57/100)
  • Goalbookapp 2 (57/100)

A score of 57 represents a common baseline across our tracked employers. While Instacart at 76 shows clear operational separation from the wider market, most of the remaining top-ranked employers cluster tightly right around the average grade of 57.8.

Employers Sitting at the Bottom

On the lower end of the ledger, scores drop to a baseline low of 52 out of 100. Yieldmo currently holds the lowest grade on the index with that 52 out of 100 mark.

Positioned just above Yieldmo is a group of employers that all hold a score of 57 out of 100. This group includes Betr, Relativity, Amplitude, Inductivehealth, and Stripe.

Because so many corporate scores are clustered closely around 57, small shifts in employer behavior or incoming data can alter where an organization ranks. For now, Yieldmo remains the single employer graded below 57 among the lowest group evaluated in this update.

Recent Ledger Activity and Verification

Intake numbers over the last seven days show a stable baseline across candidate contributions. Exactly zero anonymous candidate reports were filed in the last seven days, and zero cases were opened with Dep during this same seven-day window.

Even with a quiet intake window, system updates and verification processes remain active. Over the past week, Stone was processed as a newly verified employer on the ledger. Verification confirms core employer identity data, ensuring job seekers evaluate active profiles with verified attributes.

What the Numbers Mean for Candidates

An overall average transparency score of 57.8 out of 100 across 28 graded US employers reflects a highly unified candidate experience. When the top-tier group outside of Instacart (76) and Airbnb (66) sits at 57, and the bottom group sits between 52 and 57, candidates face a tight standard deviation.

This narrow numeric range indicates that most employers operate under very similar conditions regarding communication and process visibility. Whether an applicant submits a resume to a tech firm like Stripe or a specialized provider like Yieldmo, the expected ledger profile remains standard.
