Ledger Movers: Weekly Transparency Scores and Employer Rankings
A breakdown of transparency scores across 28 graded US employers on the JobCop ledger for the week ending August 20, 2026.
The State of Employer Transparency
Every week, we review the hiring data recorded on the JobCop ledger to track how companies perform on candidate transparency. As of August 20, 2026, the ledger tracks 28 graded US employers. Across this entire pool of evaluated companies, the average transparency score stands at 59.7 out of 100.
An average score below 60 highlights how far candidate communication still has to go across the hiring landscape. When evaluating hiring operations, JobCop measures employer habits against clear metrics to help candidates navigate their job search with realistic expectations. Over the last seven days, zero candidate reports were anonymously submitted to the system, and zero cases were opened directly with Dep.
Even without new case filings over the past week, the existing ledger data presents a clear hierarchy of how major employers compare against one another when evaluated for transparency score performance.
The Highest Graded Employers
The upper tier of the ledger features companies that maintain scores well above the 59.7 aggregate average. A total of six employers currently lead the rankings with scores ranging from 65 to 75 out of 100:
- Asana: score 75
- Amplitude: score 72
- Megaport: score 69
- Anthropic: score 67
- Airbnb: score 66
- Clickhouse: score 65
Asana holds the highest overall position among graded US employers with a transparency score of 75. Amplitude follows in second place with a score of 72. Megaport ranks third in the top tier with a score of 69. Anthropic takes the fourth spot with a transparency score of 67, while Airbnb holds fifth position with a score of 66. Clickhouse completes the high-performing group with a transparency score of 65.
These scores reflect the top tier of the 28 graded US employers currently indexed on the ledger. While there is still room for improvement across the board, these six organizations remain clearly ahead of the overall average score of 59.7.
The Lowest Graded Employers
At the opposite end of the ledger, several employers register transparency scores significantly below the average. Six employers occupy the lowest tier in the current dataset. Yieldmo and Goalbookapp 2 share the lowest score on the entire ledger, each registering a transparency score of 52 out of 100. This places both Yieldmo and Goalbookapp 2 exactly 7.7 points below the aggregate average of 59.7 across all 28 graded US employers.
Directly above Yieldmo and Goalbookapp 2 is a cluster of four employers tied at a transparency score of 57 out of 100. This group includes Inductivehealth, Relativity, Stripe, and Anaplan. Each of these four companies falls 2.7 points below the current 59.7 national average score recorded across the ledger.
When employers score in the low 50s, candidate communication and process predictability typically lag behind industry standard benchmarks.
Analyzing the Score Gap
The spread between the highest score and the lowest score on the ledger is notable. Asana leads the board with a score of 75, while Yieldmo and Goalbookapp 2 sit at the bottom with scores of 52. That represents a 23-point gap in transparency scores among graded US employers tracked in the database.
When candidates apply to companies at the bottom of the scale like Yieldmo, Goalbookapp 2, Inductivehealth, Relativity, Stripe, or Anaplan, they are dealing with hiring systems that score well below top performers like Asana or Amplitude. Knowing where a company sits relative to the aggregate average score of 59.7 helps job seekers evaluate risk and manage their time during an active job search.
Over the past 7 days, zero candidate reports were filed and zero cases were opened with Dep. Tracking employer behaviors requires constant data inputs from actual applicants.
