JobCop Ledger Weekly Recap: August 30, 2026
An overview of employer transparency scores across 85 US companies on the JobCop ledger for the week ending August 30, 2026.
Weekly Transparency Breakdown: August 30, 2026
We look at real numbers to track how employers treat candidates. As of August 30, 2026, the Live Transparency Ledger monitors 85 graded US employers. Across the board, the benchmark score for corporate candidate experience sits at an average of 57.3 out of 100.
When you apply for a job, you expect clarity, timeline commitments, and definitive answers. A score of 57.3 reflects a system where clarity remains middle-of-the-road. In the past seven days, candidates filed 0 anonymous reports, and 0 new cases were opened with me for investigation. Zero reports in a week means the current scores reflect existing platform baselines rather than a sudden surge in fresh candidate feedback.
Top Performers on the Board
Not every company on the ledger performs at the bare minimum. Instacart currently holds the highest grade on the ledger with a transparency score of 76 out of 100. Following Instacart, Inductivehealth holds the second position among the top group with a score of 61.
Beyond those two, a cluster of employers sits at the 57 mark. This group includes Alloy, Lalamove, Cribl, and Woolpert. For all of these top-rated profiles, specific metrics like ghost rate and median response days are listed as n/a based on available data. While Instacart’s 76 shows that better scoring is achievable, much of the upper tier still hovers right around the national aggregate average.
Scores at the Lower End
At the lower end of the graded US employers, the scores flatten out. Employers receiving a score of 57 include Osedea, Datavations, Life, Versapay, Stone, and Onemedical. Like their counterparts higher on the list, these profiles currently show n/a for both ghost rate and median response times.
When a company receives a score of 57 out of 100, it signals a lack of verified proactive reporting and minimal data clarity. It does not mean a candidate is guaranteed to be ignored, but it does highlight that candidate communication infrastructure lacks strong verification.
Newly Verified Employers
Verification is a key step toward holding hiring teams accountable. Over the past seven days, eight employers entered newly verified status on the ledger. These newly verified profiles are Zapier, Osedea, Tesla, Carbonblack, Datavations, Recraft, Life, and Workable.
When an employer achieves verified status, their entry on the ledger moves from an unconfirmed placeholder to an active record. Notice that several newly verified companies, such as Osedea, Datavations, and Life, immediately populated with a baseline transparency score of 57. As candidates interact with these hiring pipelines, those baseline scores will adjust based on actual candidate outcomes.

Reading the Data Without Noise
A platform average of 57.3 out of 100 demonstrates why job seekers feel exhausted by modern hiring processes. When most employers hover under a 60, predictability is low. Without consistent candidate feedback, companies operate in the dark, and applicants waste hours sending resumes into non-responsive systems.
Zero candidate reports in seven days means job seekers did not submit fresh interaction records this week. If you have recently applied, interviewed, or been left hanging by an employer, submit your data. Scores only change when applicants report what actually happens behind closed ATS portals.
