JobCop Ledger Recap: Top Scores, Bottom Tier, and Weekly Intake
An update on the 85 graded US employers on the JobCop Live Transparency Ledger as of September 9, 2026.
State of the Ledger
We track employer behavior on the JobCop Live Transparency Ledger to give job seekers clear, unvarnished visibility into candidate treatment. As of September 9, 2026, the ledger tracks 85 graded US employers.
The average transparency score across all 85 graded US employers currently stands at 57.8 out of 100. A score under 60 reflects a hiring ecosystem that leaves significant room for improvement in basic responsiveness, candidate communication, and process clarity. Candidates submitting applications into this pool are facing hiring pipelines that often fail to provide adequate visibility or predictable feedback loops.
Top Performers Across Graded Employers
While the overall average remains middling, a few organizations have carved out higher positions on the ledger through their overall transparency scores. Connectwise leads all graded US employers on the platform with a score of 76 out of 100. Koboldmetals follows closely behind in second place with a score of 75 out of 100.
Further down the top group, Instacart maintains a score of 72 out of 100. Rounding out the higher-rated tier on the ledger are Pingcap with a score of 66 out of 100, Airbnb with a score of 65 out of 100, and Aloyoga with a score of 64 out of 100.
These top scores demonstrate that keeping candidates informed and maintaining structured recruitment standards is technically possible. However, even top scores around 64 to 76 show that no employer on the list has achieved a perfect standard of candidate transparency.
The Bottom of the Stack
At the opposite end of the ledger sit the employers pulling down the national average. Clickhouse and Cority share the lowest transparency score among graded US employers, each holding a rating of 54 out of 100.
Just above them sits Lumotive with a transparency score of 56 out of 100. A three-way tie follows at a score of 57 out of 100, shared by Lyft, Datavations, and Digicert.
Employers operating at or near the 54 to 57 range represent the low water mark on our current index. When an employer scores in the mid-50s, candidate interactions frequently lack basic clarity.

We do not invent data or guess at unrecorded metrics. Where specific ghost rates or response timelines are unlisted, we rely strictly on confirmed ledger scores to evaluate hiring pipeline hygiene. The data shows that most employers sit in a gray zone between lukewarm candidate communication and complete silence. Candidates should adjust their follow-up strategies accordingly when applying to companies near the bottom of the list.
