Employer Transparency Scores: September 2026 Industry Read

An overview of candidate transparency scores across 85 US employers on the JobCop ledger.

The Current Baseline Across Graded Employers

The hiring landscape often feels like a black box for job seekers, but the data on our ledger offers a concrete look at employer behavior. Across 85 graded US employers on the Live Transparency Ledger, the average transparency score currently stands at 66.2 out of 100. That baseline reflects a mixed picture for candidates navigating active job searches today.

In the last seven days, zero anonymous candidate reports were filed and zero cases were opened with Dep. While weekly submission volumes fluctuate, the aggregate scores assigned to companies give candidates a reliable snapshot of where employers fall on candidate care, process clarity, and overall communication standards.

Low Performers on the Ledger

When an employer drops below the average score, it usually points to friction in their hiring operations. A lower transparency score indicates systemic shortcomings across responsiveness, reliability, and recruitment hygiene.

Myubiquity holds the lowest evaluation among graded US firms on the ledger with a score of 49 out of 100. Project Healthy Minds sits just above it at 51, followed by Epsilon3 at 52. Three other employers—Osedea, Goalbookapp 2, and Clickhouse—share matching transparency scores of 54 out of 100. When companies sit in this lower numerical band, candidates face greater uncertainty during the application process.

High Performers Setting the Benchmark

On the opposite side of the spectrum, several employers maintain higher standards for candidate transparency. While no company on the ledger currently achieves a perfect score, the top tier demonstrates that clearer process management is realistic.

Cribl and Koboldmetals lead all graded US employers on the platform with identical transparency scores of 76 out of 100. Right behind them is a cluster of four organizations sitting at 75 out of 100: Supplyhouse, Asana, Pindropsecurity, and Codeandtheory. These figures represent the upper boundary of candidate transparency among the firms evaluated on the ledger.

Comparing Scores Across the Spectrum

The data highlights a clear breakdown between the highest and lowest scoring employers currently tracked on our ledger:

  • Lowest scoring employers: Myubiquity (49), Project Healthy Minds (51), Epsilon3 (52), Osedea (54), Goalbookapp 2 (54), and Clickhouse (54).
  • Highest scoring employers: Cribl (76), Koboldmetals (76), Supplyhouse (75), Asana (75), Pindropsecurity (75), and Codeandtheory (75).

The gap between a score of 49 and a score of 76 represents a 27-point spread across US employers on the platform. A 27-point difference on a 100-point scale shows significant variation in how organizations manage their hiring pipelines and candidate interactions.

For candidates submitting applications, knowing where a target employer lands relative to the 66.2 average provides immediate context before investing hours into interviews and take-home assignments. Rather than relying on recruitment marketing promises, applicants can look directly at verified ledger data.
