Ledger Movers: Weekly Employer Transparency Report
A recap of weekly transparency scores across 118 US employers, highlighting top performers, lowest scores, and newly verified hiring profiles.
The Seven-Day Ledger Standings
Here is where things stand for the week ending September 29, 2026. Across the 118 graded US employers currently tracked on the Live Transparency Ledger, the aggregate transparency score sits at 65.9 out of 100.
During the past seven days, candidates submitted 0 anonymous candidate reports, and 0 cases were opened directly with my office. While the report queue remained quiet over this seven-day period, the underlying scoring system continues to evaluate hiring operations, response consistency, and process clarity across all registered firms. An average score of 65.9 indicates an environment where hiring communication remains middling at best, leaving substantial room for improvement across the board.
Employers Leading on Transparency
At the upper end of the index, a small cluster of companies manages to maintain scores noticeably higher than the national average. The highest-graded employers on the ledger this week all share top honors, led by a four-way tie at a score of 75 out of 100.
These top-ranked companies include:
- 6sense (Score: 75/100)
- Pindropsecurity (Score: 75/100)
- Codeandtheory (Score: 75/100)
- Asana (Score: 75/100)
- Supplyhouse (Score: 74/100)
- Bloomreach (Score: 74/100)
A score of 75 represents the highest current benchmark on our index. While 75 out of 100 is far from a perfect standard, these top six organizations are outperforming the broader sample size of 118 US employers by nearly ten full points on average. Candidates targeting these organizations are looking at companies that currently hold the top tier of transparency grades recorded in our tracking database.
Employers Trailing at the Bottom
The lower end of the ledger paints a very different picture. Sitting at the bottom of the dataset are employers whose transparency metrics fall significantly behind the 65.9 baseline score.
Picktrace currently holds the lowest grade on the entire ledger, coming in at a score of 50 out of 100. Just above Picktrace is Project Healthy Minds with a score of 51 out of 100, followed by Epsilon3 at 52 out of 100.
Three additional firms sit tied just above that baseline: Osedea, Cority, and Clickhouse all register transparency scores of 54 out of 100. When an employer scores in the 50 to 54 range, it reflects notable operational deficits in how candidate pipelines and communication protocols are maintained compared to higher-ranked peers on the index.
Newly Verified Additions to the Ledger
Tracking employer behavior requires continuously expanding the verified dataset. Over the last seven days, eight additional employer profiles were formally added to the verified list.
The newly verified employers on the ledger are Automatticcareers, Agari, Metropublicadjustment, Payjoy, Gruve, Yotpo, Pmc, and Buyersedgeplatformrecruiting. As these entities settle into active tracking, their performance metrics will populate further against our standard hiring pillars, giving job seekers clearer visibility into how these organizations handle applicant pipelines.
Evaluating the Spread
The 25-point gap between the highest-scoring employers (75/100) and the lowest-scoring employer (50/100) highlights a wide divide in candidate treatment across US hiring pipelines. Job seekers dealing with companies near the bottom of the scale should remain mindful of these ratings when investing time and effort into application processes.
We will continue to track these numbers weekly to see which employers adjust their workflows and which ones let their grades slip.
