Public Standard · v1.0

The JobCop Compliance & Rehabilitation Code

The operational boundaries every corporation must adhere to in order to maintain an active, trusted Verified Recruiter Badge on JobCop.app and hold standard positioning inside the public job search index.

Maintained by JobCop. This is an app-owned code of conduct, not a legal certification.

Pillar 01

The 14-Day Status Finality Mandate

Employers must process all applicants submitted through the JobCop routing API within 14 business days. A profile must explicitly transition to:

  • Interview Scheduled
  • Position Closed
  • Formal Rejection Logged

Allowing an applicant to sit in active limbo beyond 14 days automatically triggers a GHOST WARNING ALERT.

Pillar 02

Actionable Feedback Delivery (Zero Boilerplate)

Generic rejections — "We have decided to move forward with other candidates who more closely match…" — are prohibited on this platform.

Employers must provide a minimum of two structured tags mapping why a candidate was filtered out, e.g.:

[Missing Tooling Competency: Kubernetes][Budget Incompatibility][Location Mismatch: On-site Required]

Pillar 03

The Ghost Listing Audit

Employers agree to a monthly programmatic sweep of their public-facing corporate ATS listings.

Any job listing open for more than 45 days without a verified hiring action or panel interview sequence will be marked STALE ENGINE LISTING and scrubbed from the active feed to prevent candidate traffic wasting.

Data Integrity & Anti-SLAPP Summary Terms

01

User-Generated Evidence — the "Good Samaritan" Metric

By submitting a Ghost Report or corporate citation, you assert under penalty of platform suspension that you applied to, or interviewed for, the specified position within the calendar year. All timeline data must be supported by automated email header ingestion or manual upload of date-stamped communication logs.

02

Truth as an Absolute Defense

JobCop.app hosts raw processing velocities and corporate timeline data. Because truth and factual chronologies are absolute defenses against defamation, JobCop.app will never remove a verified citation due to corporate requests unless the employer proves via server communication logs that candidate outreach was completed within the 14-day compliance window.

03

Anonymity Shielding

Your private profile information, real name, and raw uploaded email assets are strictly containerized behind row-level security. External corporations can only view aggregated timeline statistics (e.g. "Company X takes an average of 22 days to respond"). Your individual identity is never sold, displayed, or exposed to target employers.

Example Citation

This is the digital "citation" issued when Pillar 01 is violated. Deputies share it publicly to hold employers accountable.
